Abstract:

Aerogel board is made from high purity nano ceramic fiber by spun or blown process. It is asbestos free. No chemical binder is added. Double-size needling provides blanket with great tensile or handling strength for easy installation. Blankets are available in various classified temperature from 1100º C to 1430º C.

Energy savings: 

Low thermal conductivity translates into direct energy savings. This advanced nano-ceramic thermal insulation material with ultra-low thermal conductivity significantly reduces energy consumptions compared with conventional materials. For example, a pipe of 150mm in diameter at 600 centigrade insulated with mineral wool can save 1226 KWH/year/meter compared with traditional mineral wool (which is also 3 times thicker. Thus, a pipe of 1, 000 meters will realize significant energy savings of up to 122 million KWH of electricity annually. ).
